Develop a new brand and design concepts for a multinational classical music site - the initial strategic phase aimed to define the requirements and scope of the implementation project.

2 The Approach

I had primary responsibility for the design and management of the research and usability sessions in London and Paris.

3 UX tasks

  • general research into the classical music industry across two European markets
  • working with the design team to prepare the concept and design artefacts for the research sessions including mood boards and brand name ideas
  • prepared the discussion guide to include paired sessions online, analysed and presented the results that included enhancements to the client's original personas
  • working with the team on the product proposition for site content, data and information structure.

4 Challenges

  • working, understanding and finding common ground across two markets
  • using more informal setting to conduct focus groups
